- M Y  S T O R Y -

Hi, I'm Catherine! I am the owner, baker and founder of Little Keto Bakery®

I have been happily married to John since March 2003 and we have two children aged sixteen and fourteen.
When I'm not baking, you can find me spending time with my family and friends, browsing the local op shops or sipping coffee somewhere!

My Keto journey didn't start because I went looking for it....
It began because of a diagnosis for my brother, that changed his life and everyone around him.
 
In his very early thirties - in the prime of his life, a demanding job and married with two young children - my brother was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. He wasn't going to sit around and let diabetes take over his life - he started
researching. He discovered Keto/low carb was the answer he was looking for.

Reducing his carb and sugar intake made drastic changes to his need for as much insulin. He completely overhauled his eating and went super low carb - a change that rubbed off on his immediate and extended family - especially me.

And so, my Keto journey began in March of 2017. 
After 14 months of this way of eating, I was 100% convinced it was the only way to go - and so, 
in May of 2018, Little Keto Bakery was born.

So ironically, the extremely negative news of my brother's life changing diagnosis - became a very positive and life changing one for me and many members of our family.

I love that I can use my creativity to bake products that won't affect blood sugar levels, will add healthy fats, super seeds and nutritious nuts to your diet, reduce sugar intake, cut carb consumption and remove gluten.
